After the fast, I felt lighter, slimmer, more flexible. Emotionally, up and down due to stressful personal situation. Spiritually, more connected.
Enjoyed not having to prepare food – a break from the kitchen. Enjoyed having more time to do other things than cook. Enjoyed the feeling in my body of being empty of food. Enjoyed the treats of the week, which were enemas and saunas. Enjoyed the feeling of not eating but not being hungry. Enjoyed it so much I extended my water fast to 7 days. Felt good in my body for having a flatter stomach. For me, cleansing and fasting is not a sacrifice – it always feels like such a gift to myself and I relish in it.
I was complimented by several people how good I looked, lean and strong. This makes me feel good, of course. Had nice conversations with my friends. Continued to help people get healthy. I had tons of energy during the 3-day fast, exercised everyday, went to infrared sauna daily, and went scuba diving on day 3.
As I look back at my time studying with Energetic Health Institute, there is one individual that stands out in my mind. That is Dr H. The whole design of the program was inspired by his love for holistic nutrition and educating the world. Having him teach each lesson helped me not only learn the information but understand the layers of deeper purpose associated with each concept taught. Studying at EHI has given me two gifts. First, it taught me to know myself better and to appreciate what is good about me. Second, it taught me to see myself as a healer. At the beginning, I believed that all the studying would be worth it if I could heal myself and help my husband be healthier. Thanks to EHI, I now see that my path forward will include helping others learn to heal themselves. I recently heard someone share how first we Learn, then we Do, and then we Become. I will always seek to be Doing and Being what I Learned. Following these steps will help me become a power for good in the world.
