There were so many things that were good this week. My whole outlook has softened, morphed, and become more pliable. My body is feeling very good and it affects my entire outlook on the events of the day. I was able to spend a considerable amount of time with family and friends – always full of laughter and love. I am very blessed.
I found the fast to be fascinating on many levels. Physically, I was able to obtain Ketosis fairly quickly. I started with an InfraRed Sauna and was firmly in Ketosis by the morning of Day 2. I felt pretty good, not a lot of hunger pains. Emotionally, I generally felt pretty good. Spent time in nature, earthing, and just taking it easy. Spiritually, I spent considerable time in meditation including Pranayama. This is my general go to when I’m needing to calm and reset. It felt good to be able to just meditate whenever I felt like it, instead of having to set apart time every day.
Having time off work and classes was really good. I didn’t realize how much I needed to just step back. Taking the time to allow my mind to empty and genuinely take deep rest felt so healing.
I was able to get more movement in and I replenished my soul with some forest bathing. I was able to quickly regulate myself after feeling upset. I feel a lot lighter physically, but slow going. Spiritually I feel really good! My mind is clear and although the hunger feeling is uncomfortable, it’s not overwhelming.
I think the good emotional part was knowing that I did the fast.
I was more centered and very productive. It was good to feel like having extra time, felt lighter, more mindful.
I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Ealy on Man In America and I was blown away. It warms my brain and heart to know that so many people are speaking in truth – not their truth – the truth. Thank you so much.
