Physically, I felt lighter, lost a few pounds and had mental clarity. I enjoyed the light feeling after enemas. Emotionally, satisfying to complete this fairly rigorous program! Spiritually, rewarding as the meditations were wonderful.
The fast was good in all three aspects, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I felt lighter, emotionally even, and spiritually peaceful for the most part. The lack of technology was freeing on a level I can’t describe. I had to leave my phone behind for my sister who was watching my dogs, so all temptation was removed as well. Staying in a hotel took away housekeeping and cooking tasks so I could focus on just being, meditating, pranayama breathing, and sleeping.
I am learning way more than I ever expected!
To Dr. H and all of the amazing staff at EHI— thank you for your positivity, encouragement and support; it made this an unforgettable experience. Thank you for your patience, understanding and commitment to not just my success, but every healer in the program. This is just the beginning! The projects, assignments, reflections, unique stories and required reading, community, and culture within EHI have been amazing.
