My unrelenting battle with my young son’s eczema brought me to holistic healing & natural medicine years ago, and since enrolling at EHI, I have not only finally healed my son’s eczema after 3 years of failed attempts, but have assisted my husband in losing over 35 pounds while losing 20 myself! A big thank you to Dr. H for developing this unprecedented certification in Holistic Nutrition. I am so thankful for everyone in the EHI community, all the students, and Dr. Henele. I came to EHI with the excitement of taking my knowledge to the next level. Along the way, I faced the most extreme case of Crohns/Colitis to date…words can’t express… especially during this happy event!! Dr. H and the whole team were huge in my rehabilitation and I’m so happy I made this decision two years ago. Dr. H used to come to my house to drop off Bentonite Clay and Astragalus Root for my healing regimen because I was to sick to leave my bed much less the house – he would call me out of the blue to check on my status and help me build a plan… How many doctors will go that far for a student? I loved the versatility of learning in this program. When you first start you really don’t know what to expect…”What’s a Holistic Nutritionist?” – Now I know that it’s much more than just a diet. Being a Holistic Nutritionist is a connection to the world through all the different facets of energy. I’ve learned the basis of those energies and how to cultivate positive energy through each one. EHI has been a true sanctuary from this crazy world for me. It’s been so nice to be in class with people that love nutrition like I do and who also are eager to learn how to use it as medicine. The EHI community has been both a support system and cheering squad for me when I’ve needed one.
