Three years and one day ago, Divine intervention led me to EHI, where I signed up for school. In my early months studying to becoming a holistic nutritionist, I was diagnosed with some pre cancerous stuff that a couple of doctors, not just one, but two doctors said I would need surgery in order to get rid of. I was pretty devastated and confused on how to handle the situation. I did my research, talked with my stepmom who is a chiropractor and breast cancer conqueror coach. I talked with a friend who works in a compounding pharmacy and worked with naturopathic doctors with my same “issue”. After my research, using what I was learning at EHI, and with some additional help, I was able to put together a healing protocol for myself for 6 months. And 6 months later, I was rechecked and the precancerous cells were GONE! And All Without Any Surgery! I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to be apart of this amazing one-of-a-kind program! Dr. H has created a wonderful Holistic Nutrition Certification that blew my mind. It was exactly what I needed in my life and exactly what I was looking for in a school. After every presentation and masterclass, I always had a huge smile on my face and craved for more. EHI has changed my life in so many ways. I’ve healed physically & emotionally. I didn’t just learn about nutrition and food, I learned how to heal my mind, body, and spirit. EHI helped me make the move with a more of holistic approach. It was a lot of work, but I did it. I was so proud of my body and just wanted to share with the world that your body was made to heal. With the right nutrients, mind set, and help, your body can do amazing things! This has been an amazing experience and excellent preparation for what I want to do for the rest of my life: help people attain health and wellness. Thank you to Dr. H for making this possible. Where else could I have actually had fun studying biochemistry, LOL? You make learning fun! You are making the world a healthier place and I hope to take what I learned from you and spread it everywhere I go. I’ve always been interested in being a healer. From the time I was about 3 years old, I wanted to be a nurse. Anytime I saw someone among my family or friends was sick, I always wanted to fix it and make them better. I would use anything in my little “toolbox” available to me, and that may include making them smile, making them some nutritious food, and just being there to hold their hand. I was well on my way at that young age to what would eventually be my path in holistic health. However, as I grew older, every time I started on my journey to become a nurse, I became sidetracked, and soon my path, that was clear as a child, became the winding and twisting one that many of us are accustomed to. Mine took me from a waiting list to start nursing school to a mother, chemical technologist, a real estate agent, an Executive Director of a non-profit organization, and finally to where I am today. After all these years, I found EHI and my winding path all makes sense now! All good things come to those who wait.
I am so highly grateful for everyone who has contributed their loving energies & time into my journey of self-discovery. As I evolve from within it is exciting to feel a fire igniting deep within me, illuminating the pathway upward thanks to the core values of true holistic health.

Not long after I started at EHI, I told Dr. H I wasn’t sure I belonged here, that maybe I bit off my then I could chew. Then a few lessons into 101, Dr. H responded to one of my homework submissions with a personal message telling me I did an awesome job. He followed it up with “Wait…..weren’t you just trying to convince me you didn’;t have what it takes to do the work and that you didn’t belong here? You are right where your suppose to be and your doing a great job, Sherri…;)” Over the weeks and months I got the same encouraging support from the best teachers I have ever been blessed to know and learn from. Finally Dr. H….Who was always telling me to trust in myself and trust in the process. I want to thank you for believing in me and giving me a chance to attend this amazing school. Every experience and all that I’ve learned has shaped me and changed my life forever!
