The Joy of Breathing is wonderful to have every day. It’s both stabilizing and transformative. Stabilizing because the rhythmic breathing helps to find my center and relax into an ecstatic state of being. Transformative because after just a few weeks, it’s changed my breathing capacity. Now when I inhale I feel the breath begin at the top of my head and as I draw it in opening the throat, heart, and belly down to the perineum. I love participating in a community of breathing and radiating gratitude together. A beautiful, and necessary, start to my day.

God led me to Dr. H and EHI during a period in my life when I was at my lowest. I no longer had friends and family. Through it all, I never lost hope! I knew there was something better in store for me. One day, I so happened to stumble over a webinar series and heard Dr. H speaking. This “Firecracker” of a man was speaking with such conviction that I had no choice but to listen. When I heard the word mitochondria that’s all I needed to hear. I was sold at that point. In college, the mitochondria being the power house of the cell always stuck with me. In all of the series that I watched, no other doctor ever mentioned the mitochondria. I knew at that moment I wanted to learn any and everything this man was willing to teach! Lol

Fast forward…I’m truly blessed and so thankful for Dr. H and my EHI family! This program is for EVERYONE, especially those who are ready to take control of their health and become an AMAZING Healer!

This school has given me so many opportunities to grow personally and professionally. As a result, I’m educationally prepared, emotionally empowered, developed a sense of curiosity, sensually alive, and I’m eager to see what lies ahead. Through the incredibly loving, supportive environment of EHI, I have been equipped with the knowledge of how the body works, what it needs, and how to teach people to heal themselves.

When I first enrolled at the Energetic Health Institute (EHI) to study Holistic Nutrition, my goal was clear: I needed to understand the science behind food. For years, my lifestyle revolved around fitness and a holistic approach to wellness, yet I felt I was falling short in truly helping others. My focus had primarily been on weight loss – ironically, an area where even I, as a fitness enthusiast, struggled at times. I knew there was a missing piece, and I was determined to find it.

At 66 years young, I’ve never been under a doctor’s care – no medications, no chronic health issues – thanks to my lifelong commitment to healthy habits. But the deeper truth of “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” eluded me. I wanted to understand how nutrition worked on a physiological level so I could confidently guide others toward lasting health.

EHI not only met but exceeded my expectations. Through this program, I’ve gained profound insights into the role of food in health – how vitamins, minerals, and even deficiencies shape our well-being. I’ve learned how food influences mood, from aggression to peace, simply based on what we consume. The connections between digestion, mental clarity, and energy levels have been eye-opening. Most importantly, I now feel empowered to help people in a way I never could before.

With just a few months left before my August completion (and slated to graduate in January), I can confidently say: EHI has changed my life. I am no longer just a fitness advocate – I am a holistic nutrition educator, equipped with the knowledge to transform lives through food as medicine. Thank you, Dr. H and EHI – I love you!
