Sitting here, in this beautiful part of the country, surrounded by gentle sunlight and endless blue skies, I see fields of tall evergreens overlooking a majestic lake filled with crystal clear water.
All is good and a profound sense of gratitude overwhelms my Heart today.
In 2000, I had a dream.
TO CREATE THE FINEST SCHOOL...
I wished to create the finest school for exceptional people,
just like you.
People who believed in energy and nature.
People who believed in goodness and Love.
People who simply believed.
By 2013, I felt that I had learned enough to push the ‘GO’ button on my dream… and my dream became the Energetic Health Institute… or as my wonderful students & grads call it… ‘E-HI’.
As crazy as this may sound, for much of my professional career, I’ve felt like a failure.
I’ve founded an amazing school that’s withstood so many trials and tribulations over the years, but we’ve never wavered on consistently developing exceptional Healers.
At this point, I’ve taught millions, thanks to social media, and been blessed to share all that I’ve learned about healing.
How lucky am I?
I’ve authored multiple books, including The Philosophy of Healing coming in October, and produced highly successful health conferences, like Healing for the A.G.E.S.
And I’ve designed truly dynamic educational experiences in the Life-Healing Arts & Sciences for almost 30 years. Yet, even with all of these accomplishments… Often, I’ve still felt like a failure.

New website. New emails. New social media approach. New Healing Made Easy Membership. New Books. And coming soon… our new Doctorate in the Life-Healing Arts & Sciences!
Sophia, our Executive Director for Community Outreach, has been spectacular… as you can see by our new website and newsletters!
Holly, our Executive Consultant, has been wonderful in her assessments and brand guidance.
In fact, our entire team from Amber & Sol to Amy, Kristof & Meredith, along with everyone who makes my EHI dream come true every day… each deserves so much praise. We are so lucky to have each one helping create special experiences for our students.
We even have a new Writing Team that you’ll get to meet throughout this month and for many months to come. They’re going to knock your socks off… I promise you.
Yet, after all this beautiful work… we felt that something was still missing… and I felt like I was failing again because of it.
What was missing was OUR story… the amazing story of EHI.
IMHO, the story of EHI can only be told by those who’ve enrolled to study healing with me. Those amazing people who’ve come into my life to make my journey so fulfilling… those Healers who’ve made EHI, truly OUR School.
Good people come to study with me for many reasons.
Some because they seek to regain their health (or help a loved one regain theirs).
Some because they wish to advance their existing skills as a Healer.
There are some who dream as I have and see great things in the future.
And there are some who Love to nerd out just as I do.
Whatever the attraction to EHI, I’m blessed each and every time someone decides to enroll because I get to be their teacher. AND I LOVE IT!

As I walked among the tall evergreens just a few days prior to our conversation now, I felt like a failure.
So, God spoke to me… as the Friend He has always been.
He said to me…
‘How can you be a failure when you’ve already succeeded?’
“Forgive me Father, I don’t understand,” I replied with sad eyes.
‘Stop rushing to get something done… and READ the testimonials,’ He said.
And so I did… I read them slowly… I read them for the Aloha Spirit living within each one of them…
And I was overwhelmed with gratitude… they brought to tears of joy to my eyes.
All I needed to do was to acknowledge the past… to see the future to come.
