Have you ever wondered how folks like me, who’ve been around for a while, figure out what to do so quickly, when listening to someone tell them what’s wrong?
One of the biggest secrets to thinking like a Healer is simply this…
GET TO THE ORGAN… GET TO THE ANSWER!
One of the beautiful things about blending Eastern & Western systems of healing into the Cycle of Influencing Energy, like we do at EHI, is that they often overlap… saying the same things, just using different words.
For example, what the East refers to as Prana or Chi is known in the West as Adenosine Tri-Phosphate, or ATP for short.
And what’s referred to as Chi Flow in the East, is the flow of Direct Current electricity in the West.
In both the East and the West, the wisdom of their unique assessment techniques each points in the same direction… to the Organ.
For both East & West, investigations into disease processes are about getting to the Organ most in distress… with the idea that once the Organ in need is identified, the options for therapeutic intervention open up wide.
That’s to say that ‘Getting to the Organ… Opens The Farmacy’
Just the other day, an EHI student reached out to me because a family member of hers was experiencing painful menses and she didn’t know where to begin.
WELL, WHERE TO BEGIN IS ALWAYS AT THE BEGINNING
And in this case, I suspected that the beginning would be the Liver.
So, I asked, “What do the whites of her eyes look like?”
“They can be a little red, which she blames on seasonal allergies.”
Then I asked, “What can you tell me about her emotional state before menstruation starts?”
“She cries a lot, but can go off on her boyfriend over little things, too.”
“Do her moods seem to swing very suddenly before her cycle starts?” I asked.
“Yeah. How did you know that?”

I knew that, Healer, because each sign points to her Liver.
Painful Menses… Liver
Why?
Thanks to the East, we know that her Liver has a lot to do with emotional stability and Liver health can be seen in the sclera (or whites) of her eyes.
Red eyes… Inflamed Liver. Mood Swings with Anger or Frustration… Congested Liver.
Emotional Instability… Nutrient Deficient Liver. Tears… Fluid of the Liver.
And thanks to the West, we know that the Liver (via the Bile) is responsible for clearing excess estrogen and other reproductive hormones that contribute to painful menses.
This situation is typically rebalanced by (1) tending to the Mitochondria, (2) facilitating clearance of the excess hormones via the p450 Cytochrome System, and (3) utilizing fiber to bind the bile.
All of which creates a healing resonance within the body to help her poop out the excess hormones putting her on an emotional rollercoaster.
And we didn’t even talk about microplastics, pesticides, and other xenoestrogens that can also create big problems.
So, how would she know cleansing is working?
Because of 2 things…
First… her cycles become less painful over the next 3 or 4 moons…
But, even before that, she’d start seeing a great sign of healing…
